Poetry Workshop lead by Tez Watson, member of forWORDS.

• Two quick ice-breaker exercises
• Short tour of the Woolmill
• Formal workshop - a supported session taking inspiration from the surroundings

• Possible public readings
Influences can be drawn from the setting/landscape, the Mill, machinery, fabric, processes, personalities, history, colours, etc.
If some participants wish to write flash fiction that is also possible within the framework of this workshop but the aim is primarily poetry.

forWORDS is a writing group established in Forres in about 2005 and currently has eighteen members - many who have had work published. Group members recently participated in collaborative projects with UHI (Celtic Connections) and the National Theatre of Scotland . Their lively programme of events includes workshops, weekly sharing/critique meetings, an annual retreat weekend and visits by guest speakers. Membership is capped to twenty members and meetings are held each week in the Royal British Legion at 7:00pm on Tuesday evenings.
