1730 Tartan Throw
Originally woven in 1730 in pure silk as a “Brides Plaid”, this tartan was discovered in the archive of the Highland Folk Museum in Newtonmore.
It is most unusual in that it incorporates 8 colours in a very complex pattern, and would have taken great skill to hand weave over 280 years ago.

Small Findhorn Scarf
Inspired by the coastal village Findhorn and its surrounding scenery, the scarf features grey, yellow, orange, blue and red stripes on a warm oatmeal ground.
1775 Tartan Throw
First woven in 1775, this tartan is believed to be an 'apprentice piece'. The pattern is complex and would have shown the skills of the young hand weaver. This is probably the first time since its creation in 1775 that the tartan has been commercially manufactured.
