The dates for the next Spinning and Yarning sessions are as follows: 7th February 7th March 4th April 2nd May 6th June The Spinning and Yarning group is an open invitation for spinners of all abilities to bring down their wheels for an informal spinning session at the Woolmill. Join us in the beautiful surroundings of Knockando, and meet other spinners from the local area in our new spinning group. Sessions begin at 11am and are £4 per person. Bring your spinning wheel! Refreshments are included.
Deep in the Spey Valley, Knockando Woolmill continues an unbroken 200 year old tradition, producing woven fabric on its historic looms.
Knockando Woolmill has always been at the heart of the local community. Listed as the 'Wauk Mill' in parish records from 1784, the mill has since maintained its traditions of spinning and weaving through generations of families.
All profits go to the Knockando Woolmill Trust to ensure the future of the Woolmill.
