We are currently opening up a number of volunteering opportunities at the Woolmill for Tour Guides and Education Volunteers.
Other ways you can help
We have worked over a number of years to secure the funding of the £3.5 million which has enabled us to restore the Woolmill.
But in many ways, that's just the start of the story.
We are now actively fundraising to generate funds to give the operating company a flying start.
These funds will be used to build up stock, buy some additional new equipment, develop new markets and part fund an apprentice.
So our donors and Friends are now more important than ever!
Become a Friend
Becoming a Friend enables you to join the increasing and dedicated group of people from all over the world who are committed to the restoration project so that future generations can enjoy its heritage and keep the traditional art of weaving alive.
As a Friend you'll receive:
• Regular newsletters and updates
• Woolmill sticker
• Your own sample of a “Woolmill Weave”
• Welcome letter
• Invitations to special Friend’s tours of the Woolmill
To become a friend, simply select the appropriate membership option below and click 'Subscribe'. This is a recurring subscription and your card will be charged annually. You may prefer to make a one-off payment.
To qualify to give by Gift Aid, you must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that the Trust reclaims on your donations in the tax year (currently 28 pence for each pound you give).

* By selecting 'Yes', if you are a UK tax payer, for every £1.00 you give, we receive an extra 28p from the HMRC.
Making a donation
If you'd like to make a donation, please click the donate button below. You will then be able to make a donation of any amount using either a PayPal account or your credit card.
If you're a UK taxpayer, please take the time to complete this Gift Aid form.
For every pound you give, we're able to claim an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further.
