Estate Tweed

Posted on
Our friend, Daniel Harris, founder of The London Cloth Company has just been back up at the Mill working on a tweed project for Logie Estate.
Logie Estate sits in the scenic Findhorn valley near the town of Forres. Like many estates, this is a multi-faceted business involving farming, forestry, housing, commercial premises, tourism and recreation.
Daniel has woven 120 metres of bespoke tweed on our loom here at the Mill. Featuring a classic design with an olive green check and neutral malt background, the finished hardwearing tweed will be used by the family and those working on the estate.
Knockando has made cloth for Logie since the 1920s and it was a pleasure to work with them again on this commission.
Bespoke tweed is a speciality of Knockando Woolmill and we often work with estates, businesses and individuals to create cloth that can be fashioned for interiors, clothing or accessories. Please contact the Mill for more information if you are interested in discussing a project.
